Wonderful, comfortable, memorable room, food, and conference experience
The rooms were clean and cool. The food was fresh and hot. The staff accommodated anything we needed for our short conference. I highly recommend them for travel, business, or vacations. Terrible experience at deluxe cost
My experience at the hotel was terrible. The room was dingy, dark and dirty, at an unjustifiable cost. Bathrooms are tiny, poorly cleaned and smelly. Plumbing works very intermittently with water just trickling out of the shower. Curtains do not cover the entire window. No fan in the room in a very hot Kasese. Everything combines to ensure poor sleep quality, at high financial cost. The food is passable, but I found better quality better priced food in nearby restaurants. Welcoming staff, great food!
Me and some friends stayed in Kasese for three months, and we came to Sandton almost every day. The staff took care of us like family, the food was always delicious, great outside sitting area, one of the few places in Kasese with good Wifi. If you ever have an issue or a question, the staff at Sandton will do everything to help you. The standard of both the service and the food is very important to the staff, and they always listen to suggestions. A little dated now
A little dated now, compared to some, but professional staff and clean rooms in a central location make this one of Kasese's most popular hotels. Nothing to look at from the street but inner courtyard is pleasant place for a drink or meeting. Alcohol drinking frowned upon by 7th Day Adventist owner, according to friends. Stayed on the way to visit to Queen Elizabeth Park.
The rooms are clean but many small irritants. Like nobody picks up the phone at reception they say call but they are busy chatting and don't pick up phone. Saw it with my eyes and personal experience. Also no glasses in the room. In double occupancythey keep one towel. Bathroom doors are of iron and no handle to pull it open. So if you are locked in you shout and expect some one else to break the room door and rescue you.reception area is too dark. Similarly light in rooms is not sufficient.the service is really slow. Excellent
Nous sommes restés deux nuits avant et après notre trek dans les Rwenzori début aout 2021. Ils ont gardé nos bagages gratuitement pendant le trek. Excellent accueil, chambres propres, excellent restaurant et petit déjeuner (inclus). Une heure de route pour aller au camp de base du Rwenzori Mountaineering Service (tout à fait raisonnable). Great Hotel Competent Management

Turned Away on Prepaid Reservation
Had a night booked in February before 5 days hiking in the Rwenzori Mountains and for the night after the hike. On the night before the hike, hotel was ok. Room's a/c was weak, wifi spotty, and no hot water in the morning, but given the location and price nothing to get worked up about. However, on return I arrived at 17:45 only to be told that I was being sent to "The Annex" because the hotel had no rooms. I initially thought this to be a section of rooms connected to the hotel, but it was not. This only became clear as the gave my bag to a man to then started walking blocks away from the hotel. I made him turn around and went back to the front desk to confirm where I was being sent. I was told I was going to "the annex," that this was the only available option. I asked what amenities this "annex" had, such as wifi, a/c, restaurant. The manager responded by saying under her breath "oh my god." She confirmed no wifi, no on-site food, but that I could walk back to the hotel for wifi and they would send food. This not being what I had booked, and having prepaid the reservation via Orbitz, I asked for confirmation in writing that there were no rooms, or a refund. Neither were offered. I used the lobby wifi to book alternate accommodations of my own choosing. A later google search turned up that there is a hotel called the "Kasese Executive Inn Annex," which is where I presume was where I was being sent. Recomendable en Kasese.
Carta amplia y buenos precios,comedor amplio y tambien mesas en patio interior. Servicio lento pero son amables, si hay grupos llegan a tardar mucho en servir... Raciones abundantes y muy buena relacion calidad precio. El Hotel es uno de los mas aconsejables de la ciudad. Centrico y comodo.
